When you buy from ArtStylosBois, you’re making a responsible purchase
- You’re buying directly from a craftsman, with no intermediaries (i.e. through a short supply chain). Your pen or other object goes from my workshop to your hands.
- You’re buying a French product made by hand, using various techniques and drawing from extensive know-how.
- Every pen is refillable, so you avoid the waste generated with disposable plastic pens. All refills are available on our website and in specialist stores. A well-kept wooden pen can last for years!
- You’re giving work to other craftsmen without even knowing it. For example, you’re supporting Sev’Nat, who makes a handmade case for each and every pen and also makes stylish pencil cases sold individually. You’re also helping out François, my supplier of wood pen blanks, for the species I have to buy – although I always try to use species I can find near my home, from branches or cut trees. And you’re providing work for Pliparci, whom I work with on several projects and who makes the origami notebooks that I sell individually and in boxes.
- For every pen, razor, shaving brush, corkscrew or bottle-opener you buy, two trees will be planted with Tree Nation – you can go to either of the two following pages to see how many trees have been planted in total. We can no longer plant trees with Reforest’Action, which now requires a minimum of 2,000 trees a year. I’ve therefore switched to Tree Nation, where I can plant the number of trees I want every month.
